Pink Velvet

She wore psychedelic stockings and a paisley mini dress
As she walked up on the platform, and I must confess
That I marveled at my fortune to have found her.
I saw a cloud forming around her.
And I saw the heels that spiked the ground below her.
She acted like I ought to get to know her.

Mistress of the universe, master of restraint.
Market forces brought us here, and she found it quaint
When the wind came up and I saw the horizon.
She laughed and noticed what I had my eyes on
As a mist wrapped around her like the night,
Lavender then pale then almost white.

OK OK OK OK OK OK OK,
Like the night.

We talked about her business while she touched a crease
And my mind played over it, like some great abyss.
So I fumbled for some funds to gain her favor.
Then she revealed pink velvet I could savor.
My wallet was my power, was I weak
To empty it all out for just a peek?

Beautiful Mirranda, my angel of the dance,
In the heavy metal twilight, put me in a trance.
Then she sat upon my lap without derision
And she smiled upon my joy in the collision
Of our lower regions in the smokey night
'Till my muse of magic sang in a brilliant light.

Hooray Hooray Hooray Hooray Hooray Hooray Hooray,
All right, all right, all right, all right, all right.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
