Official Cudie Taa "Twisted Pear" Web Page

My current work is much more out-going and rap-oriented than the stuff I was doing four years ago when I released "Twisted Pear." If you've seen me on stage or in a bar or coffee house, you're probably interested in my more recent stuff, some of which you can hear on:

Cudie Taa's MySpace page, or on
Cudie Taa's GarageBand.com page.

"Twisted Pear" began as a cycle of five songs that had their beginnings in the '60s and early '70s:

Sometimes I Wish I Was a Paramecium
The Hill
Snow Prince
The Armadillo Sleeps Tonight
Pink Velvet

The CD "Twisted Pear" includes two additional songs:

cross bronx acid trip
Inflatable Woman
The CD and the individual songs on it may be previewed and/or purchased from many commercial music sites, including the following:

Technical Notes:  The instrumentation for "Twisted Pear" was originally generated on a computer running GNU/Linux software using the vim editor and the gcc compiler. The resulting midi files were eventually imported into Apple's GarageBand 2.0, which I used for tweaking and enhancing the backgrounds, capturing the vocals and doing the final mix. My thanks to all of the programmers, paid and volunteer, responsible for all of that wonderful software!
